Story from the Sky
Marteq Energy would like to acknowledge the past, present and emerging Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land that we are present on today. We also pay respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spiritual connections to the land which we are upon today.
This artpiece showcases surrounding areas of the Goldfields Outback including Cosmo Newberry which is situated between Ulura and Perth in the Western end of the Great Victoria Desert. I call this artwork "Story from the Sky" as it is an aerial piece. It is what I see when I am doing certain artpiece's that are close to me. The colours used relate to Goldfields Region, Outback and the many areas visited and travelled from our families. The campsite represents our family (we've got a big family) and the important stories and teachings shared.

- Honey ant popular bush tucker delicacy.
- Bardi (maku) witchetty grub.
- Orange, brown, yellow circle is honey ant colours.
- Dark red, lime green, white circle are the colours of quangdong.
- Creamy brown, white, brown circle is the colours of bardi (maku) witchetty grub. Bardi (maku) are also included between the spinifex shrubs.
